MEET YOUR SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVOCATE
Sue’s journey to advocacy began 10+ years ago when her 3 yr old son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (now ASD). It was a terrifying time. Besides coming to terms with her son’s diagnosis, she was faced with securing an IEP for her son. She didn’t even know what an IEP was! Luckily, Sue connected with an advocate to assist her in obtaining an appropriate education for her son. A love of advocating for children with disabilities and their families was born. In 2018, Sue left the corporate world to devote herself to children with disabilities full time.
